Bond Training Planning: Worked Examples Across a Support Deck
Four worked examples: a single-card threshold calculation, a full six-support deck snapshot, an SSR-vs-R rarity comparison, and a limited-turns prioritization decision.
Example 1 — Single Support, Basic Threshold Calculation
An SR support sitting at 51 bond, training at its matching facility roughly every other turn.
Next threshold: 60
Bond needed = 60 − 51 = 9
Effective rate (SR, baseline) ≈ 7 bond/session
Sessions needed = ceil(9 ÷ 7) = 2 sessions
Example 2 — Full Six-Support Deck Snapshot
A mid-run deck with bond values ranging widely across six equipped supports:

Sorting by bond needed shows Support B (2 bond) and Support A (6 bond) as the cheapest near-term wins, while Support F is the furthest from any bonus and a lower priority if training turns are limited. Example 3 — SSR vs. R Rarity Comparison at the Same Starting Bond
Two supports both sitting at 45 bond, aiming for 80.
Bond needed (both): 80 − 45 = 35
R support: baseline-slower rate ≈ 6 bond/session
Sessions ≈ ceil(35 ÷ 6) = 6 sessions
SSR support: faster rate ≈ 8-9 bond/session (approximate, card-dependent)
Sessions ≈ ceil(35 ÷ 8.5) = 5 sessions
The gap is modest at this distance (5 vs. 6 sessions) but widens on cards with stronger unique friendship-boosting effects — always treat the SSR estimate as a rough approximation rather than an exact number, per the training terms glossary.
Example 4 — Limited Turns, Choosing Between Two Supports
Only 4 training sessions remain before a key race. Support G is at 71 bond (SR); Support H is at 62 bond (R).
Support G: 80 − 71 = 9 needed ÷ 7/session ≈ 2 sessions → reachable
Support H: 80 − 62 = 18 needed ÷ 6/session (R, slower) ≈ 3 sessions → reachable but tighter
Both are technically reachable in the remaining window, but Support G has more slack if a turn gets spent on a random event instead of training — making it the safer of the two to commit remaining sessions toward if only one can realistically be prioritized.
