Indoor fabrics are made for controlled environments with limited UV exposure, no rain, and low humidity. Outdoor fabrics are engineered specifically for continuous sun, rain, humidity, and mould conditions.

What “Solution-Dyed” Means

Standard fabrics are woven first, then dyed. Sun and bleach attack the dye on the surface of the fibres.

Solution-dyed fabric (Sunbrella, Outdura, Bella-Dura) reverses this: the colour is added to the liquid polymer before the fibre is extruded. The colour runs all the way through the fibre — there’s no surface dye to fade.
